You should see if you could talk to her on the phone or something. Therefore, she should be willing to accept the feedback and hopefully make changes to her approach. Your confrontation could prevent this therapist from damaging her relationships with her clients in the future.
Plus, I think for you, it is a step forward in healing and confidence building to call someone out who has "hurt" you.
Good luck and have fun at your conference!RunninL8https://www.blogger.com/profile/00954492756662221754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4133929039186110257.post-67147201114883857332009-08-02T13:04:52.781-04:002009-08-02T13:04:52.781-04:00Alright, just read your Friday post. If it were me, I would go back just to let the therapist know that I disagreed with her/his "get a man and your life will be fixed" philosophy.

That way, I wouldn't look back with regrets. It also gives the therapist a chance to clarify or recant etc...Might help the next victim...er...patient.

But, if you would rather not deal with it and it is only a minor irritation, moving on is good, too.Mammatalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02817604771276398853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4133929039186110257.post-18128331611867747552009-08-02T12:29:12.159-04:002009-08-02T12:29:12.159-04:00Enjoy the conference and don't worry about the...Enjoy the conference and don't worry about the Internet - it will still be here when you return!

L.
