The songs in my head

Welcome, kittens, to another edition of "The Songs in My Head," where I have some random songs that I get stuck in my head so badly that I need to pass them on...to your little noggins. So that they can get stuck in your heads.

However, I hope you thank me for my choices today, since these two songs are positive, upbeat, and perfect for a first day of summer dance.

Okay...I'll be honest...it's been raining here in Connecticut...and raining...and raining...and raining some more...I almost forgot about that yellow orb that provides us light and life. I think it's called...the sun?!?

Anyhoo, here's the first tune, which comes to you courtesy of Relient K. It's called "Must Have Done Something Right".

And here's the second tune, a remake of the old King Harvest tune, "Dancing in the Moonlight." I'm not usually one for remakes but these guys do a stellar job with this:

Kittens, what songs are in your heads right now?

Hey! cant remember if it was here or another book blog but did you do a giveaway for Anita Shreve's testimony? I think the publisher actually was supposed to send the books? Ring a bell:?

I hesitated to listen to them for fear they would transfer to me as an ear worm but I'm hoping for the best. I like Relient K but I've never heard that particular song before.

Happy Sunday!

Good songs! I enjoyed them. I'm sick of rain too in NY.

I get the occasional irritating song looping through my head for a day, but sometimes I also get a word or phrase. Today, I was blessed with BOTH a song AND words! The irritant cluster-fuck of Toady is "Mission Viejo" and Joan Armatrading's "I Love It When You) Call Me Names". Have NO IDEA why....

Great list here. The weather's a bummer. I hope it gets better.
