My Next Trip to New York

I'm most likely returning to New York in the fall, once the weather's cooled down a bit, to visit the New York Public Library. I got the inspiration from PeaceBang's latest post. I didn't know there were exhibits at the New York Public Library, like the Gutenburg Bible.

But what really makes me want to visit? It's not the Gutenburg Bible, but the REAL, AUTHENTIC, ONCE PLAYED WITH BY THE ACTUAL CHRISTOPHER ROBIN Winnie the Pooh and friends!!! Go to the link above and you'll see a picture!!!

A day at the New York Public Library, then a trip to the Strand bookstore, and finally, a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge...yep, it sounds like the perfect fall day in the city!

Winnie the Pooh was at the Donnell, but that branch has been closed for renovations. Doublecheck to see where they've moved Winnie. Also, worthy of a visit is the NYPL for the Performing Arts. There are two galleries there and a new photography exhibit by Kenn Duncan is opening there: http://broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=30108
