My lip zit

It's really embarrassing that I have a zit on my lower lip.

Unfortunately, lip zits are very difficult to get rid of. You can't use standard zit creams, out of fear of ingesting things you really shouldn't. You can't wear concealer because it wears off quickly from sipping your coffee and eating your breakfast.

Tell me, kittens, do any of you have experience in getting rid of lip zits? I need to know how to dry this puppy up. It's ruining my otherwise (now!) clear complexion!

No advice, though I think Berts Bees makes a roll- on astringent for blemishes.

Do not put on lipstick and call attention to it. Put on mascara and eyeliner.

If you can stand it, dab a little bit of alcohol on it (rubbing, not vodka! Althought vodka would probably work....) That should dry it up. Try not to pick at it....the last time I had a lip zit I picked it and it remained for weeks.

Ouch! Have you cruised the Whole Food beauty aisle. They always seem to have interesting balms and salves...

Oh lip zits are the worst!!! I've never gotten one on my lower lip, it's usally right there on top! And even after they die down, the red mark stays FOREVER!

I need a remedy too!

Hm. I guess just leave it alone, eat right, sleep well, and drink lots of water; maybe that'll flush it out of your system.
