Grocery tips for hard times: flavored water

I got this tip off of PeaceBang's blog. It's really easy, and it has helped me drink a lot more water!

You will need:
  • your favorite fruity tea (like Celestial Seasonings's zinger teas, or anything berry-flavored)
  • a big pitcher
  • water
  • sweetener to taste (I prefer Splenda, but PB says she uses stevia)

It's easy:

  1. Fill your pitcher with water.
  2. Put about 3-4 teabags in the water.
  3. Close the pitcher. Put it in the fridge to steep for a couple of hours.
  4. Take pitcher out of the fridge and pour yourself a glass.
  5. Sweeten your glass of water to taste. I personally add two packets of Splenda to my glasses; to me, it tastes a little like Kool Aid!

Let me know how you like it!

One of my only good habits is that I'm a big fan of plain old cold water!

Yaya: Thanks!

Jenners: A lot of times I have trouble just drinking plain ol' water. Iced tea is my all-time fave. I decided to abandon the black tea bags every now and then in favor of PeaceBang's method. I'm really enjoying it!
